Dr Christine Stier is a renowned bariatric surgeon and a trailblazer in bariatric endoscopy in Germany. As an active leader within the International Federation for Surgery of Obesity (IFSO), she is crucial in advancing the understanding and practice of obesity surgery.

Dr Stier’s expertise spans surgery, general medicine, and nutritional medicine. Her professional journey led her to Frankfurt in 2012, where she served as a Senior Physician and Head of Surgical Endoscopy. In 2014, she transitioned to a similar role at Sana Klinikum Offenbach, and in 2017, she took the helm of surgical endoscopy in Würzburg.
